Day
Skip the wait and get your DangerFest experience started right away with a private check-in just for our guests. Grab your welcome drink, connect with the Danger Jones team, pick up your event packet and settle into your ocean-view room.
Night
DangerFest kicks off at the Poolside Welcome Party with dinner, drinks, and some special entertainment while dining with the whole community under the stars.
Day
Start your morning off with a heavy dose of fun, inspiration and connection at the first morning session. This morning, founder & CEO David Thurston will give a transparent look at all things Danger Jones, followed by panel discussions and a keynote speaker who will help level up your life and career. Then, spend your afternoon at the pool or on the beach, making lifelong memories with the other amazing artists on this journey with you.
Night
The evening is yours. Grab dinner with fellow attendees at one of the resort’s 7 restaurants or head out and explore Cancún. With La Isla Shopping Village and local attractions just across the street, you’re in the perfect spot to shop, explore, and make the night your own.
Day
This morning will be the second morning session. We will be featuring a top keynote speaker and also turn the spotlight on many inside our community, who will take to the stage and deliver TED Talk-style mini-keynotes. Then, enjoy some pool time, a walk on the beach, some time at the spa, or get a group together and book a special excursion of your own.
Night
The event will culminate under the stars with the annual Danger Jones Family Dinner. This will be a chance to reflect on the experiences we shared, the connections we made, and everything we’ve built together. This will be a celebration full of food, open bars and entertainment, and a dance party with some of the finest people we know.

The first of its kind. Step into a unique, immersive experience designed to unlock new knowledge and inspire you to elevate your skills behind the chair. Educators will focus on teaching their favorite techniques that you can use behind the chair. We’ll also host a special lunch. Next, we will set sail on a luxury catamaran (with an open bar) and take in the sights of the Caribbean. The evening is yours to slow down and decompress.
This day is available to a very limited number of guests. The 63 artists that attend will be determined by random lottery.

A Master Education Series
For a small group of artists, the week doesn't end on Tuesday. One more full day with Danger Jones: two education segments, a private family lunch, and an exclusive luxury catamaran with an open bar to close it out.

We created DangerFest to inspire and educate our community, and to give you real time together in a place worth being. Mornings are for speakers and educators who'll push your career and your life forward, plus a transparent look at Danger Jones and what's coming next. Afternoons are yours: the beach, the pool, excursions, or just time with your people. Evenings are planned: the Welcome Party on Sunday, a free night Monday, and the Family Dinner and celebration Tuesday, weather permitting.
This is not a Danger Jones educator training.
Yes. Mexico requires a valid passport with space for stamps. We recommend at least 6 months’ validity past your return date; some airlines check. You'll upload it by Sat, Dec 12.
DangerFest is for positive-minded, licensed, active professionals who share our love for Danger Jones and this community.
If you book a shared double, you'll choose your roommate after you've paid your deposit. Talk with them first, especially about The Encore, since roommates go together or not at all. No roommate in mind? We're happy to connect you with one.
A bonus day on Wed, Feb 24, with two classes, a private lunch and a catamaran. You pay only your Wednesday hotel night, and we cover everything else. It's lottery-only, so check the box when you request your space.
The Encore notifications go out on Mon, Oct 5 - both selected artists and anyone on the waitlist will hear from us by email and text.
We recommend rooming with someone who would like to participate in The Encore day.
You’ll find the most value in being part of the community events. We’ve built in downtime for poolside moments and time to recharge. You’ll also have a free evening to spend however you choose.
Live Aqua is all-inclusive, so your room, meals and drinks are covered, along with airport transportation to and from the resort. Flights and any excursions you book are not.
We'll send instructions for meeting your round-trip airport transfer driver closer to the event.
You can request additional nights by emailing dangerfest@dangerjonescreative.com, and our team will help coordinate your stay. All additional nights, including Wed, Feb 24, are at your expense.
If you’d like to experience The Encore on Wed, Feb 24, you can enter the lottery. If selected, you’ll be prompted to sign up for the experience. If you aren’t selected, you can still extend your stay, but you will not be able to participate in the Encore events.
DangerFest is for licensed professional stylists only. You'll want to spend your time with us.
Attire is casual, but dress up for the Welcome Party and Family Dinner if you like. Pack a swimsuit, sunglasses, lip balm and sunscreen.
No, this isn't a hands-on event.
Live Aqua is all-inclusive, but gratuities for resort staff are at your discretion.
Your safety comes first. The captain and marina keep an eye on conditions and will tell us if it isn't safe to leave the dock. While rare that it happens, we'll swap in an alternative activity.
If the event is cancelled because of things outside our control, like a natural disaster, government travel restrictions, or official safety warnings that make travel to Cancún impossible or unsafe, we'll refund the hotel fees you've paid.
To be fair to every artist on the waitlist, no. Space is limited, so please only request a space if you're sure you can join us.
