When would I use Danger Jones Colour Remover?

Do I need to mix it with a developer?
Yes, mix with Danger Jones Deluxe Cream Developer in 5 or 10 Volume in a 1:3 ratio (powder:developer).
How do I decide if 5 or 10 Volume is best?
In most cases 5 Volume will do the job.  If the colour is a little deeper, reach for 10 Volume.
What's the processing time?
Process up to 30 minutes without heat, checking every 5 minutes until desired results are achieved.
Do I need to shampoo after using?
Yes, fully rinse and shampoo out of hair. We recommend doing this twice to be sure all residue is removed.
Will Danger Jones Colour Remover alter/affect natural hair colour?
Yes, it will alter natural hair colour. It’s best to only paint on areas with faded semi-permanent colour and avoid any natural hair colour.
Can I use Danger Jones Colour Remover right after a semi-permanent colour is applied or do I need to wait?
We recommend waiting a minimum of 5 washes before trying to remove any colour. Washing the hair at home a few times will help weaken the colour molecules yielding better colour removing results.
Does Danger Jones Colour Remover work for anything else?
Yes, you can also use it to gently pull out over toned hair from either a toning shampoo, or a semi or demi toning colour.
Can I use Danger Jones Colour Remover again if I want to remove more colour?
Yes, you can mix a fresh batch and re-apply to help remove more. We recommend only using it twice in one session.
What makes Danger Jones Colour Remover different from other brands?
Danger Jones Colour Remover contains Aloe Vera, Argan Oils, Jojoba Oils, and Sorbitol to help nourish the hair during the colour removal process.
Can you use Danger Jones Colour Remover at the same time as a lightener?
Yes, you can use it at the same time because it has an alkaline pH like a lightener does.
Does Danger Jones Colour Remover work to help remove semi-permanent colours from other brands?
